Job Description

Support the Government in tracking and controlling changes in software and supporting data, ensuring version control and establish baselines, implementing a change process, providing configuration status accounting, configuration auditing, build management, process management, environment management and defect tracking.

Essential Job Functions:

Software Versioning.

Checking software in and out.

Finalizing software for a build.

Maintain and update items with Configuration Management Tool.

Create and update CM documentation.

Job Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma plus 16 years of experience, an Associate’s Degree plus 12 years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of experience is required.

An active secret clearance is required.

At least 6 years of experience with mid-sized client-server systems in systems analysis, software design, software development and database administration.

Experience with ClearQuest and Team Foundation Server and PVCS Version Manager.

Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and independent verification and validation techniques.

Experience working independently and as part of a team in researching data, developing analytical techniques and methodologies.

Demonstrated knowledge of system acquisition practices required to design, develop, integrate, test and manufacture a major system.

Performs tasks with little or no guidance.

Desired Skills:

Server/network knowledge.

System Administrator knowledge.

Knowledge of IEEE 12207.

Knowledge of RMF process (used to be DIACAP).
