Job Description

Entry-level scientist Computer Scientist or Electrical Engineer/Physicist to provide analytical support services to U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Data & Analysis Center (DAC) at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM. 

Essential Job Functions

Develop, maintain, and support operation of software for controlling laboratory equipment, data collection and reduction, modeling, and related data analyses for CCDC DAC.

Support preparation and presentation of project plans for future evaluations to customer personnel.

Provide technical instruction and expertise to customer personnel during the data collection, analysis, and reporting phases of customer driven analyses.

Work on-site alongside contractor and customer personnel at WSMR, NM, with alignment to customer work schedule, Monday-Thursday, 10 hrs/day.

Required Skills

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required

Must have and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Bachelor of Science in Computer Scientist or Electrical Engineer/Physicist with a minimum of one year of experience

Experience writing custom code and running applications using C/C++, skill in Windows 10 operating system environment

Data acquisition and analysis experience

Desired Skills

Optics experience associated with electro- optical measurement methodologies and tools to support maintenance of state-of-the-art capability

Background in electrical engineering or physics

Familiarity with other data analysis tools, e.g., MATLAB

Utilization of scripting languages
