Job Description

Aviation Safety Specialist to support human factors development and assessment of military aviation systems.  

Essential Job Functions: 

Reviews, evaluates, and analyzes military aviation work environments and designs programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury. Able to perform all functional duties independently and may act as team leader or supervisor, directing the work of other engineers, specialists, and technicians.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High School Diploma/GED plus 8 years of experience, an Associate’s degree plus 2 years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree.

Must have conducted inspections and enforced adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals.

A minimum of three years of related experience is required. 

Desired Skills: 

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is desired.
