Job Description

The Air and Sea Forces Support Sector, Operations Assistant provides administrative, financial, business analytics, and personnel support for a range of activities within the Sector and in direct support of the Air-Sea Forces Support Sector Executive Vice-President.

Essential Job Functions:

Tasking will include Training in Project Control to be able to assist Project Leads on Project Control functions.

The position will require proficiency in financial and labor data collection.

Support includes analysis and resolution of financial matters for both indirect and project related activities utilizing company database (Cognos).

Responsible for tracking Sector personnel statistics incorporating weekly Hire/Term and Open Requisition reports provided from Corporate Staff.

Support project management by reviewing Project Data Sheets for At Risk tracking, and the Project Document Workspace for updates required by the Quality Management System.

Assist with subcontract requisitioning, budget tracking, invoice review and reconciliation efforts.

Assist with the management of contract tracking sheets and funds management.

Assist employees submitting expense reports in Deltek, providing training, reviewing and uploading receipts as needed.

Assist with time keeping as required and provide communications for Compressed Work Schedule employees and other unique situations.

Follow and implement Corporate Policies and Procedures.

Schedule meetings and conference calls, order office supplies and plan all formal and informal corporate activities at the Local Lexington Park Office.

Assist in the development, archiving, and tracking of Sector Briefings and Meeting Minutes.

Job Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of experience.

Energetic, self-starter in the organization and management of office operations.

Good analytical skills.

Good Communicator in all forms.

Detail oriented, problem solving professional.

The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Proficiency with Microsoft ® Office Products with a strong concentration in MS Excel.

Strong communication skills.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Deltek Time & Expense and financial software like Cognos.
