Infoscitex is seeking a Principal Investigator (PI) to support high visibility Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) efforts. In this role, you will support aerospace technologies research in Dayton, OH, which provides a dynamic work environment with opportunities to work with state of the art simulation technologies, simulation integration experts, and military Subject Matter Experts (SME). Essential job functions: Your work will focus on project management and technical execution of software development and analysis efforts for capability assessments of emerging aerospace technologies. In addition, you will ensure related tools and methodologies are suitable for DoD Decision Support Systems.

The PI of the AFSIM business area will be a highly competent technical leader and ensure that IST meets cost, schedule, technical, and risk milestones, maintains excellent customer satisfaction, strong employee engagement, and supports business growth objectives. Such leadership will position IST to serve the government as a partner of choice, and enable the ability to shape plans and priorities in a mutually beneficial manner.

In this role, you could expect to:

Coordinate the preparation and delivery of high quality, fully compliant contract deliverables in accordance with the required due dates.

Utilize your excellent English communication skills and demonstrate them with customers, staff, subcontractors, and company management.

Coordinate the execution of all administrative functions required by the contract such as contracting, subcontracting, purchasing, security, safety, etc.

Maintain high staff morale through employee recognition, team building and, career development.

Proactively formulate and execute strategies for successful contract performance and business growth.

Some short-term intermittent travel may also be required.

Job Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

BS in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline and at least 8 years of related experience. (We have multiple levels associated with this opportunity category. Candidates with varied educational and experience combinations may be considered for alternative classification.)

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: ability to attain a Secret clearance.

Strong record of accomplishment establishing and maintaining customer intimacy and delivering organizational promises. Experience with Cost Plus contract vehicles and demonstrated the ability to track financials and report status.

Ability to support the timely and compliant development of highly competitive proposals.

Demonstrated strong technical skills in modeling, simulation, and analysis.

Experience managing in an R&D environment.

Ability to engage in discussions across all AFSIM technical areas in order to understand the mission and support the best approach to satisfying customer requirements.

Ability to travel, if needed.
