Job Description

Provide building security system support of the IPT to include the Automated Entry Control System (AECS), IDS Alarms and Hirsch systems.

Essential Job Functions

Support general Information Security (INFOSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC) and Physical Security (PHYSEC) duties. Administer and enforce security policies and procedures regarding the proper handling, safeguarding, marking and destruction of controlled information.

Liaison with outside agencies such as PMA Security, NCIS, and NAWCWD Security.

Assess security risks and vulnerabilities and support operational plans to minimize risk to programs within the IPT.

Ensure IPT Security Policies and procedures are current, compliant with governing directives and accurately reflect the IPT mission.

Develop and provide security training to personnel.

Review, update and draft Security Processes and Procedures.

Rotate security functions to cross-train in all areas.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A high school diploma plus 7 years of professional experience is required. Will also consider an Associates degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Experience with the classification process and the handling of classified material.

Excellent communication skills and able to liaison with outside agencies.

Possess high moral character and integrity.

Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Visio).

Desired Skills:

Automated Entry Control System (AECS), IDS Alarms and Hirsch systems, Hirsch system experience.

Defense Security System training.

F-18 IPT mission understanding and experience.
