Job Description

DCS has recently won Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) contract and is looking to hire an Acquisition Program Specialist with experience working with the Army’s Program Manager Position, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT).  

Essential Job Functions:

Creating, reviewing, and providing recommendations for PM PNT acquisition programs, including participating in the development of program objectives, integrated master schedules, budget requests, strategies, program documentation, program briefings, business case analysis, acquisition planning, policy implementation and achievement of milestone objectives for PM PNT products. 

Creating, reviewing, and providing recommendations to acquisition and milestone documentation in support of PM PNT product Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Executive (PPBE) Processes. 

Provide and update briefing documentation for, and attend meetings associated with all acquisition aspects of PM PNT products to include such meetings as IPTs; reviews leading to and including Milestone Decisions; PNT product contractor reviews; Weapon System Reviews (WSRs); POM reviews; budget reviews. 

Must have expert knowledge of the DoDI 5000.02.

Reviewing and providing guidance for and updates to program documentation such as acquisition plans, acquisition strategies, and justification and authorizations (J&A).

Assisting in the preparation of, and provide recommendations for, the formulation of short and long range PM PNT program.

Required Skills: 

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree with a minimum eight (8) years program/product management experience with DoD acquisition programs. 

Must possess a Secret Clearance.

Must have minimum 5 years of supervisory experience. 

Must have experience with developing, reviewing and giving presentations/briefings to senior management.
