CM/DM Technical Analyst
Salary Range: $68,640 - $75,000
F-35 Integrated Product Team (IPT) is seeking a skilled, motivated, and disciplined Technical Analyst to assist with technical writing, configuration management/data management activities and project management support for a highly dynamic environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Technical Writing Support
Perform Jira administration for the F-35 IPT.
Coordinate and organize meetings, efforts or events.
Establish and execute IPT level technical writing processes and procedures.
Develop, design, edit, maintain, plan, revise and write technical and non-technical data in a professional and uniform a manner for dissemination to customers and stakeholders at International / PMO level.
Ensure detailed documentation reviews for technical and non-technical data for accuracy, grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, format, and version control.
Manage graphics repositories and usage for technical and non-technical documentation.
Produce agendas, record, track, and publish action items and meeting minutes.
Ensure document control via the various Configuration Management (CM) procedures and databases.
Establish and implement Configuration/Data Management procedures and processes.
Be a trainer and SME in the utilization of Configuration Management and Data Management standards, processes, systems and tools.
Responsible for Facilitating and Co-chair change review boards. (Change Control Boards, Technical Review Boards).
Maintain and control technical data/configuration items appropriately across the F-35 IPT and for items delivered to customers.
Create and/or improve administrative processes/security processes for cross platform participation.
Research requirements for the execution of efforts/events.
Brief leadership or stakeholders on progress of efforts/events.
Submit monthly status reports/presentations to leadership and stakeholders.
Plan/coordinate working groups and project meetings.
Maintain/track mailing distribution list.
Track attendance for meetings, working groups, and for efforts/events.
Coordinate logistics for participating personnel and vendors for efforts/events.
Assist F-35 IPT China Lake, CA security team for security briefs, security plans and escorting.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
An Associates degree with 4 plus years of relevant experience or a Bachelors degree with 2 plus years of relevant experience. Will also consider a high school diploma with 10 plus years of relevant experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance for duration of employment.
Must be able to work onsite - This position is not remote work eligible.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Effectively communicate (oral and written) openly and transparently with tact and professionalism.
Ability to perform, manage, and prioritize multiple related tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to develop, recommend and execute process design solutions that address identified issues and align with organizational goals. This may involve creating process flowcharts, defining standard operating procedures (SOPs), monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify process bottlenecks and areas for improvement and outlining best practices.
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with leads, and stakeholders to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure process improvements align with the customer’s needs.
Desired Skills:
Knowledgeable configuration management discipline in accordance with Department of Defense standards as appropriate to the program and/or as directed by the program manager.
Familiarization with Agile and the ability to work within small groups or Scrum teams.
Familiarization with Wiki, SharePoint, Jira, Visio and Adobe applications/tools.
