Payroll Admin III
We are looking for a person to join the Payroll Department and Accounting Division to ensure accurate processing and recording of the company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information and utilize their excellent organizational skills to ensure proper data entry, analysis and processing. This position will impact a rapidly growing organization and offers career development opportunities for the right candidate.
Essential Job Functions:
Process all aspects of assigned bi-weekly/semi-monthly payrolls for over 1500 employees including timesheets, leave accruals, off cycle transactions and terminations, payroll, new hire set ups, leave reviews, manual checks, bonuses and terminations.
Reconcile payroll transactions and validate all actions prior to finalizing payroll completion.
Daily Review and resolution of items submitted to the payroll help box.
Manage workload to ensure all transactions are processed accurately and timely.
Work with HR on any employee deduction, status change and leave requests. Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits.
Enter, update and process garnishment set up and compliance. Assist Payroll Manager with tax and garnishment inquiries and responses.
Maintain effective communication and collaboration with team members.
Assist Payroll Manager with reports, audits and requests from other departments and work with the Legal, Human Resources, Finance or Project Control teams.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
High School Diploma/GED plus 10 years of payroll experience is required.
Certified Payroll Professional preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of payroll best practices and payroll tax regulations.
Proficiency Microsoft Office skills including Excel, working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint, T&E and UKG.
Strong work ethic and professionalism are a must. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills and ability to deal with sensitive and confidential material.
Decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills are a must.
