Provide Laboratory Technician support to the Tank-Automotive, Research, Development, and Engineering Center (TARDEC) Software Engineering team for their various ground vehicle System Integration Laboratory (SIL) projects.
Essential Job Functions:
Integrate, maintain, and diagnosis problems with electronic components, equipment, and cables used in the TARDEC SEC SIL.
Start up and shutdown TARDEC SIL systems on a daily basis, as well as maintain configuration logs of SIL equipment.
Support TARDEC SIL engineers with integration, validation, and verification of SIL equipment and cables.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelors and 5 years of experience or Masters and 4 years of experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and cable drawings.
Self-starter with the ability to work without direct supervision.
Strong customer service skills.
Travel as required.
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of C4ISR, Vetronics and related software on DoD ground combat vehicles.
Experience with DoD ground combat vehicles, tactical wheeled vehicles, and/or DoD C4ISR systems.
Experience with U.S. DoD communications equipment.
