Job Description

Seasoned Systems Engineer to manage projects and perform systems engineering for marine and ground vehicle systems.

Essential Job Functions:

Functions include but not limited to:

Participate in requirements development.

Interface with internal and external customers.

Produce requirements artifacts.

Develop system architecture, ICD, and compliance verification matrix.

Characterize and measure system performance.

Coordinate and oversee systems engineering processes throughout product development life cycle.

Plans tasks and schedules.

Manages resources and budgets.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Ability to obtain secret clearance.

BS degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other Engineering discipline.

Minimum of 5 Years of relevant work experience.

Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and system level design and the ability to develop system level requirements and design artifacts.

Experience in developing system and subsystem level requirements and designs for hardware and software implementations.

Experience working with ground vehicle equipment: computers, network switches, radio communications, power supplies, wire harnesses, and other equipment.

Working knowledge of COTS equipment.

Effective communication skills, both oral and written..

Proficient with use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint).

Basic Project Management or technical project leadership experience.

Able to travel, occasional domestic travel in support of the program; potential for international travel.

Desired Skills:

Experience in the systems engineering, development and operation of Ground Vehicle Systems.

Proven innovator of new and emerging technologies.

Experience with ruggedized COTS and military grade equipment.

Experience performing Systems Engineering throughout product development life cycle following the ā€œVā€ process.
