Job Description

In this role you will provide Senior Program Management, System Security Engineer/Network Support to various F-22 Acquisition and Sustainment Programs within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton Ohio.

Essential Job Functions:

The applicant shall provide senior program management support with at least ten years of SSE weapon/network experience and a Certified Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSA) Certification.  The applicant shall provide senior program management support with ten years SSE experience with the F-22 Weapons System or a similar Fifth Generation Fighter in the modernization/ sustainment phase and in the preparation and review of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages of the F-22 Weapons System, including but not limited to, classified and unclassified networks, standalone Local Area Networks (LAN) and enclaves, air vehicle, ground support systems, systems of systems, and software and hardware in compliance with the Joint Special. Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG).

The applicant shall have experience as an Information System Security Officer/Information System Security Manager, and system administrator experience is preferred.  The applicant shall have experience with assessing need and implementation of security control per JSIG. Previous experience on fifth generation Low Observable (LO) platforms is preferred.  Experience with weapon systems software development processes is preferred.

The applicant shall provide cybersecurity support, including development and technical review of Systems Security Plans (SSP), cybersecurity strategy, cybersecurity test strategy, and other SSE documents.  The applicant shall perform security management duties for systems and applications, part of the F-22 Weapon System, supported under this task.

The applicant shall have experience in the following SSE areas: Vulnerability assessment procedures, tools and techniques which identify system vulnerabilities; collaboration with cooperative and adversarial cyber testing; Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) guidance and policy regarding program sensitive items; Software assurance plans and implementation concerning development processes, operational systems, and development environments; and risk assessments based on JSIG and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-30.

The applicant shall have knowledge of and experience complying with the requirements of NDAA 1647.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Possess a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering, or higher and a minimum of 20 years of related experience with a minimum of 5 of those years working in a DoD acquisition program as either a sub-system or system lead engineer within a recognized ACAT I (or equivalent) special access program office. An ABET accredited engineering degree is required. At least 2 years of DoD SAP engineering experience must have accrued within the 4 years prior to selection for employment under this contract.

The candidate must have a least five years of electrical engineering / avionics engineering experience as a Department of Defense (DoD) civilian or DoD applicant.

The required clearance level is Top Secret/SAP/SCI.
