Job Description

In this role you will provide full-spectrum SECURITY SYSTEM MANAGEMENT support to the GLOBAL HAWK PROGRAM OFFICE within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Robins AFB, Georgia.

The DCS Team has entered the direct pre-award phase for this multi-year effort. Accordingly, we are working to smoothly transition incumbent team members, and to fill existing and projected vacancies.

These positions include both tele-work and government-site work requirements.

Nominal start of work is 20 November 2020.

Essential Job Functions:

In addition to tasks and responsibilities related to the specific project, all team members must perform the various common security management duties to enable the accomplishment of the Global Hawk acquisition mission, to include:

Assist with technical security services for the day to day security operations of a complex acquisition portfolio.

Assist with implementation of information, personnel, physical (related to the protection of classified and unclassified information), and industrial security at the direction of the US Government security manager who is responsible for protecting information from unclassified/for official use only/controlled unclassified information to Top Secret SCI/SAR.

Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, which are critical, along with the ability to recommend/implement changes to existing security countermeasures as the threat environment change.

Assist with preparation and maintenance of security program documentation and briefing materials, track metrics, produce weekly and monthly security related reports. Perform physical security inspections (related to classified facilities), process required paperwork for new or for modifications to existing facilities.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Possess a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, along with 5 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD.

An adjudicated DoD Security clearance on the First Day of employment. 

The required clearance level is dependent upon position and project assignment, and may include: Secret, Top Secret, and NATO endorsements.

Personnel at the Journeyman level shall possess the knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the technical/professional discipline they are performing.

Have the ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and process related to their area of expertise. Have the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines. (Program Office and Staff Level Support interface).

Achieve Level 1 Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) granted by Defense Security Service’s (DSS) Security Professional Education Development (SpeD) program is required within 1 year of employment. 

Training resources and assistance achieving certification will be provided by the DCS Team.
