Job Description

The Contractor shall support the regeneration, conversion, and modification of AMARG stored Block 15/25/30 F-16 aircraft to the QF-16 Aerial Target Program.

Essential Job Functions:

The Contractor shall support technical support services for QF-16 avionics systems, subsystems and programs primarily, but should be able to support mechanical systems issues also.

Assist to monitor/track and prepare TCTOs necessary in correcting deficiencies such as operating instructions, overhaul, repair procedures, and/or modifications to the aircraft.

Assist with preparation of AFMC Form 873 for the purpose of TO changes/corrections and other related forms and processes required to maintain assigned TO and technical data to includes review and correction of parts list for modification kit requirements.

Support and accomplish spares provisioning as required, and shall interface with appropriate inventory managers located within a variety of DoD agencies. The Contractor shall assist to ensure that QF-16 spares requirements are identified and shall support the coordination of programming the requisite funding to meet the identified requirement to includes research of technical data packages and recommended level of maintenance for source maintenance and repair codes.

Provide assistance in troubleshooting avionics systems, developing improvements leading to the resolution of issues identified with fielded and fielding for all avionics systems including, but not limited to, radar, controls and displays, data bus, communication, navigation, identification, electronic warfare, and sensor systems and other systems and components as defined in, or derived from, program requirements.

Support as the technical content manager for avionics systems and TOs assigned. The Contractor shall assist to establish the requirement for and prepare TCTOs and technical orders for both field and depot level maintenance operations, repair inspection and testing of the complete weapon systems.

Assist to perform verifications of technical data as a member of the technical verification team and pre/post publication review group to determine technical accuracy of data and proper sequence of the technical content.

Support coordination meetings as required. The Contractor shall attend and participate in program management meetings and program review meetings.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Degree plus 16 years of experience or a Associates Degree plus 10 years of experience, a Bachelors Degree plus 8 years or a Masters Degree plus 6 years of experience is required.

Current Secret clearance.

Experience in aircraft avionics development, integration and sustainment specific to the F-16 aircraft.
