Job Description

In this position you will provide full-spectrum PROGRAM SCHEDULING and ANALYTICAL SUPPORT to various USAF and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) acquisition programs within the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance and Special Operations Forces (ISR/SOF) Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

Essential Job Functions:

This position principally supports the ISR Sensors FMS New Business Team, providing program specific program scheduling, acquisition analytical, and administrative support. 

You will be the focal point for the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS) and the Defense Travel System (DTS) for FMS New Business opportunities. 

You will provide the administrative support necessary to coordinate and assist program office operations in all facets of acquisition administrative support, including project planning, organization, coordination, communications, and documentation.

You will support Government requirements for internal/external briefings and reports by assisting with preparation, scheduling, and coordination of materials, and will assist in verifying document formats against administrative processes and assist with maintenance of a tracking system for identification and correction of deficiencies.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High School Diploma or GED plus 13 years of relevant experience, an Associate’s degree plus seven 7 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience is required.

Requires a DoD SECRET clearance on the first day of employment.

Applicant selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. 

This position requires demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Project software.

Possess the ability to learn to use commercial or specialized computer applications.

Previous experience working FMS programs within a USAF program office.
