Job Description



COVID-19 continues to significantly impact our employees, families and communities. The core responsibilities for the Program Management Operations Officer will be to provide planning, coordination, and synchronization of program management activities for the Product Manager. The person in the position will act as primary interface between the Product Manager, Project Manager,  Program Executive Officer (PEO) leaders and staff, ASA (ALT) leaders and staff, and other stakeholder organizations.



Essential Job Functions:



Coordinate projects and assure that priority actions are coordinated and properly executed throughout the organization to assure timely, cohesive, and accurate execution of work; and provide program information, analysis, and recommendations to leadership for program actions and decisions.



Manage the assigned program calendars, coordinate and schedule meetings, take meeting minutes, transcribe and distribute meeting notes and action items to meeting attendees, provide the status of action items, reports, and other assigned tasks, and electronically store the material from these engagements on the portal (SharePoint).



Prepare briefings and presentation materials, interpret DoD and HQDA acquisition guidance to, with the involvement of the product team, develop, prepare, and staff program documents to include Acquisition Strategies and Plans, System Engineering Plans, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, and Integrated Lifecycle Support Plans; and coordinate, revise, copy, and distribute materials for meetings, briefings, and conferences.



Coordinate virtual and on-site meetings using Microsoft Outlook and Teams.



Track tasks using the PEO Task Management System and ensure responses are submitted by provided deadlines.



Prepare programmatic documents in accordance with the most current versions available of the DoDI 5000.02, Army Regulation 70-1: Army Acquisition Policy, DA Pamphlet 703: Army Acquisition Procedures, and the Defense Acquisition Guidebook.



Provide research and other support for working groups for  Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads



The contractor shall have a DoD SECRET clearance to review and analyze documents that may include classified (secret or below) content.



Required Skills:



Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.



Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.



Bachelor's degree plus 6 years (out of the last 10 years) experience coordinating and collaborating the management of complex DoD engineering or technical programs, and experience working on military acquisition programs (preferably ground combat vehicle systems). (Acceptable experience is that which reflects a substantial role in all the required areas: acquisition program documentation; acquisition program baseline development and management; development of supportability strategies and plans; development of technology development strategies and plans.)



Experience in the preparation and tracking of Program Documentation IAW DoDI 5000.02.
