Job Description

Looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) trained professional with experience in process audits, configuration management, and software releases.  This position provides oversight of the JSSA Organization and JSSA-owned projects, and develops/supports tools used to collect and report organizational and project-level performance metrics.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop, manage, control and execute process, procedure configuration audits

Perform periodic audits during all phases of software and requirements development to verify established standards and procedures are being followed.

Track and report all issues using the Quality Corrective Action Report (QCAR).

Audit, evaluate, verify all activities associated with project Verification & Validation testing have been addressed and mitigated.

Develop final QA Reports to include from requirements to implementation and final testing results, ensuring all requirements have been tested.

Review and authenticate peer review changes for all project developed documentation.

Validate software releases via the lab and/or on the aircraft.

Maintain the Software Quality Plan (SQP) and provide input on project System Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs) and organizational Configuration Management Plan (CMP).

Coordinate JSSA Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) activities.

Verify Document Review Processes are being followed to ensure all comments are addressed during document incorporation.

Initiate and follow through to closure all SETR milestone review checklists.

Verify internal training requirements have been completed.

Identify and report all non-compliance issues.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must have an Associates degree with 4 years of applicable experience. Will also consider candidates with a high school diploma and 10+ years of applicable experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance for the duration of employment.

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with QA processes and methodologies.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Self-motivated, requiring little to no direction, and who will actively seek out ways to improve processes and procedures.

Effectively communicate (oral and written) with tact and with professionalism.

Team player and can work with minimal supervision.

Strong Microsoft Office skills (esp. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Desired Skills:

Database Experience (e.g., DOORS, Serena Dimensions).

Automated and performance testing experience.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
