Job Description

Infoscitex is seeking a Human Research Engineer to support our work at the Applied Neuroscience Branch at the Air Force Research Laboratory in Dayton, OH.

Essential Job Functions:

As this Human Research Engineer, you could expect to:

Model physiological data and develop programs for real-time cognitive state assessment.

Manage and execute the data collection of multiple studies.

Aid in the programming and maintenance of various cognitive tasks.

Aid in report writing, journal publications, and conference presentations.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

At least an MS degree in Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; and at least 2 years of related analysis experience. (We have multiple levels associated with this opportunity. Candidates with advanced degrees or varying experience may be considered for alternative classification.)

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: eligible to attain a Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance.

Experience managing a team of research associates.

Ability to plan, manage, and execute multiple complex analytical studies and interpret the results.

Academic publications experience.

Familiarity with running human subjects in a laboratory setting and taking various physiological measures such as hemodynamics, eye-tracking, and breath rate.

Field research experience.
