Job Description

This position will be providing logistics management support to the 413th Flight Test Squadron, CV-22 sustainment testing, located at Hurlburt Field, FL. Works as a member of an integrated product team to develop and test new capabilities for the US Air Force. This position requires an individual with motivation and initiative to support sustainment flight testing in a dynamic high tempo environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Planning, coordinating and supporting the logistics needs of 413 FLTS test and evaluation projects.
  • Reviews aircraft maintenance forms for proper test hardware/software configuration, instrumentation and test modification documentation; ensures all ground safety and security practices are being followed to support 413 FLTS aircraft ground and flight test requirements.
  • Provides technical advice and recommendations to leaders and maintenance technicians when required.
  • Briefs squadron leadership and test engineers concerning aircraft status, equipment issues and problems.
  • Supports Air Force logistics programs including Composite Tool Kit (CTK), Vehicle Control Officer (VCO), Unit Airfield Driving Program, Equipment Accounts.
  • Self-Inspection program monitor, Unit Ground Safety Program, Land Mobile Radios.
  • Utilizes experience and knowledge to ensure logistics support requirements are designed into acquisition programs by working issues involving logistics elements including supplies, support equipment, technical data, maintenance coordination, facilities management, and equipment packaging, handling, storage, and transportation.
  • Travel to offsite locations as required.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

An Associate degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of experience is required.

Active Secret Clearance.

CV-22 Maintenance Production Superintendent, crew chief and/or avionics experience highly desired.

DOD Test and Evaluation program experience, logistics contract management experience, USAF communications electronics experience, munitions and/or weapons experience are desired.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

This skill level typically performs all functional duties independently.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office application.

Excellent communication and customer interface skills required.
