Job Description

DCS Corp is seeking a Contracts Analyst to provide full spectrum, contracts, programmatic and budget support for Army Research & Development projects funded through the Aviation & Missile Technology Consortium (AMTC).

Essential Job Functions:

Support the processing and oversight of contractual action and phases of CCDC AvMC Science and Technology projects/programs

Process programmatic and contact documents in support of AMTC Other Transaction Authority (OTA) projects

Support pre-award and award activities

Develop and maintain Microsoft Project schedules for documenting Procurement Administrative Lead Time (PALT) for OTA projects

Interact with other DoD Agencies, Industry, and Academia

Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Agreements Officers, Technical Managers, Financial Analysts, and OTA Attorneys

Review and edit Scopes of Work, Determinations and Findings, Document Support Lists, Acquisition Approach Memorandums, and other Prototype Acquisition Package documents

Manage Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRLs) requirements, and ensure CDRLs are complete with the correct, and most updated, Data Item Descriptions (DID)

Coordinate/support quarterly Collaboration Events and Industry Days involving large and small businesses, non-traditional defense contractors and Department of Defense agencies

Research and interpret industry and DoD terms and acronyms, DoD Instructions, OTA guidance and contracting policies

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must have an active, Secret-level, DoD security clearance.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with at least 5 years of relevant experience or High School plus 13 years.

Exceptional communications skills.

Ability to act on own initiative with minimal direction.

Ability to focus on task objectives, project details and associated suspense actions.

High level of proficiency in basic MS Office tools, i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and  Microsoft Project and Adobe Acrobat; used on Windows 10 computer operating systems.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Army procurement and contracting processes.

Knowledge/experience with Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) contracts.

Experience with military aviation rotary-wing and/or guided missile weapon systems.

Experience with Army/DoD research and development/science and technology projects.

Familiarity with SharePoint is a plus.
