Job Description

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) shall provide support to B2 Low Observable and Special Projects.

Essential Job Functions:

The Contractor shall apply experience developing and managing the acquisition of LO platform modifications including but not limited to avionics, computer architecture, communications, and electronic warfare systems.

The Contractor apply knowledge in avionics, computer, radar, EW, communications and security engineering principles to advise and assist with LO platform modifications.

The Contractor shall advise and assist the Government in developing, acquiring and managing LO platform IA, cybersecurity and AT provisions.

The Contractor shall:

  • Assist in initiating, supervising, and/or developing requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.
  • Assist in providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff.
  • Assist in providing detailed analysis, evaluations and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.
  • Consult with the Government to define need or problem.
  • Assist in supervising studies and leading surveys to collect and analyzes data to provide advice and recommend solutions.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited Engineering program plus 15 years of experience is required.

Active Secret to TS/SCI Security Clearances required.

The Contractor shall have knowledge in avionics, software, computer, radar, EW, and communications engineering principles.
