Job Description

Currently seeking an Avionics Systems Architect to support US Navy Programs as a member of a systems architecture team working on behalf of our Government customer.

Essential Job Functions:

The successful candidate will support a systems architecture team providing technical oversight and direction to contracted industry developers for software architecture implementation and integration of an avionics mission systems product with both the current fleet aircraft and future platforms.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, or Computer Science plus 10 years of experience is required.

An active Secret Security Clearance is required.

A working knowledge of Hardware, Software and Logical systems specification, Logical Systems integration, System Functional Decomposition, Service-Oriented Systems, Modular/Component-Based Systems, System Through-life Engineering, System Automation, and Model-based Systems Engineering.

Desired Skills:

Six years experience working with NAVAIR avionics systems.

A BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
