Job Description



In this role you will provide full-spectrum ACQUISITION PROGRAM MANAGEMENT support to the GLOBAL HAWK PROGRAM OFFICE within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.



This position includes both telework and government-site work requirements.



Essential Job Functions:



Develop and apply an understanding of assigned Global Hawk systems, and the associated documentation to support modernization and sustainment of the air vehicle, payloads, ground systems, and associated programs.



Assist in USAF project management during the development and integration of aircraft hardware/software to assess the functionality of each component.



Assist in assessing system operational performance in satisfying validated operational requirements.



Apply an understanding of the US Airworthiness Certification (AWC) processes to assist in coordination and resolution of certification issues, including UAV permissions-to-fly and ferry flight preparations.



Assist in customer interaction to establish critical System of Systems (SoS) interoperability requirements to gather and exploit imagery intelligence (IMINT) and signals intelligence (SIGINT) information, as well as interoperability with ground segment, line-of-sight and satellite communications (SATCOM) data links for command and control.



Required Skills:



Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.



Possess a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, along with 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.



An adjudicated DoD Secret security clearance on the First Day of employment.



Personnel at the Senior level shall possess the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field, and possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel within the technical/professional discipline.



Desired Skills:



Experience with USAF unmanned air vehicles.



Experience in the USAF acquisition program office environment.
