Job Description

DCS is looking for a systems engineer to support an Army Project Manager providing oversight to product engineering teams and risk management efforts.

Essential Job Functions:

Must be able to effectively represent Director, System Eng and Cybersecurity, in internal and external meetings.

Review systems engineering acquisition documentation including, but not limited to: Requests for proposals (RFPs), Systems engineering plan (SEP), and System requirements document (SRD).

Assist and participate in reference architecture development and staffing; coordinate meetings to support the effort and represent the Architecture lead in their absence.

Evaluate completeness and provide feedback on during technical reviews and documents including Engineering change proposals (ECPs), Requests for variances (RFVs), System requirements review (SRR), system functional review (SFR), Preliminary design review (PDR), Technology readiness Assessment (TRA), Integrated baseline review (IBR), Critical design review (CDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), System verification review (SVR), Functional configuration audit (FCA), and Production readiness review (PRR).

Provide product oversight and guidance for established risk management process.  Participate in product level risk meetings and coordinate O6 level Risk Management Boards.

Support technical directors and products as required.

Participate in weekly system engineering meetings.

Provide oversight and guidance for established risk management process.

Review and comment on system engineering documentation to support product lines.

Review ECPs and RFVs to ascertain requirements and risks.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.

A Secret level clearance is required.
