This intern will support the Mission Planning Department in developing software and maintaining the continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline for Department projects.

Essential Job Functions:

Design and develop software components and user interfaces, under the supervision of a mentor.

Participate in software development as part of a team contributing to a multi-team, multi-organization enterprise using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Collaborate and coordinate with assigned mentor and project leadership, to comply with DCS standard processes to be an effective DCS employee-owner.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Upon starting, a high school graduate with at least enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program.

Able to interact with technical and non-technical team members, in group and individual settings.

Desire to learn and ability to present findings to the assigned team and DCS leadership.

Desired Skills:

Experience with developing software using one or more high-level object-oriented languages such as C#, Java, C++.  C# preferred.

Experience with Web Application Design and Development using one or more of the following – Angular, AngularJS, React, ASP.NET Core.

Knowledge and familiarity with Git.
